Suggesting a listing

What to include

A short email with these six things lets us check a suggestion quickly. If you aren’t sure about a detail, say so.

Name and type. The public name, and the closest fit: organization, cause, person, event, service, product, resource or story.
Austin connection. The neighborhood, service area or local audience. Don’t guess an address from a website.
A public source. A link to their own website, or another source that backs up the details.
What it does. Who it helps and what someone can do next. Keep what’s available now separate from future plans.
Dates and costs. For an event: date, time, place or link, and how to register. For a service: who’s eligible and what it costs.
Your connection. Whether you represent the work or are suggesting it as a community member.

Only send public information or material you have permission to share. Leave out passwords, private client material and personal details.
